What is Dad Reckoning?

A free place for dads to find practical guides, ask questions under a callsign and have a laugh. Start with the manual, browse the community or choose the stage that matters to you.

Do I need an account?

No. You can read the guides and browse the community without an account or choosing a stage. An optional account lets you keep your profile across devices and enable reply notifications.

Is it only for new dads?

Not at all. There are guides from trying for a baby through the newborn days, toddlers, school years, teenagers and adult children. Experienced dads are welcome to share what they have learnt.

How does anonymous posting work?

Posts display a callsign rather than your real name. Your browser stores your callsign and stage preferences. Posts and replies you submit are shared with the community, so leave out identifying details.

Can I choose more than one stage?

Yes. Choose the relevant stages for your family, such as a newborn and a teenager. You can change them later, or browse all the guides without personalising anything.
