Is it weird that I have not felt anything yet? She is dealing with it constantly and I am just sort of standing nearby waiting to be useful.

Extremely common and not a fault. For a lot of men nothing lands until the scan, or the first kick, or in my case the first real smile at about seven weeks. Standing nearby waiting to be useful is the job right now, and it is a real one.
