How do you do the night shifts fairly when she is feeding and you physically cannot? Feels like I am getting off lightly and also like I am useless.

You take everything that is not the feed. All the nappies, all the winding, all the resettling afterwards so she only does the feed itself. Plus water and food every single time she feeds. That is not getting off lightly, that is the job.
