Choosing a pram for a narrow hallway

Measure the hallway before you buy anything. Nobody tells you this.

The pram that wins in the shop loses in the hallway. Measure first.

The three numbers

  1. Hallway width, at its narrowest.
  2. Door width, frame to frame.
  3. Folded depth. This is the one that matters for storage.

What to ignore

The all-terrain wheels, unless you live on a moor. The matching bassinet that fits for six weeks. The colour.

Buy the one that folds with one hand, fits through your door, and does not cost a month's salary. The hallway is the test track.
